Digital Tachograph Training
Training Courses for Drivers from 1 to 1 or maximum class of 10
With the fitting of Digital Tachographs becoming law in may 2006 it will not be
long before you require either a driver card or training, or as an operator
purchasing new vehicles with digital tachographs fitted.
We can offer training to meet all your needs for both drivers and managers.
Whether we carry out training at your company premises or at our fully equipped
training centre. Out of hours training is available at a small premium.
We can also advise on products to purchase in order to down load and analyse
drivers activities and vehicle data. You can also hire our training simulators.
Half Day Driver Training
Our half day driver training covers:
Drivers hours regulation refresher - Understanding the drivers card - What if it
is lost or stolen - What is stored on the card - Digital modes - Digital
tachograph menu - How to log on / off - How to make manual entries - How to use
the card - Understanding 24 hour printouts - When to download drivers card -
Simulator demonstration / participation.
One Day Manager (Max 5 Students)
Our one day manager training covers:
Complete notes folder with all the regulations - Overview and introduction to
different vehicle units - Vehicle unit functions - What the different cards do -
UTC time explained - Drivers card data storage / requirements - Applying for
company cards - Accessing data - Lock in and out data - Downloading vehicle unit
and driver card - Analysing data - Driver procedures - Menu and display
demonstrated and explained - Inspections - Mixed digital and analogue work -
Reading and understanding different printouts - Easy steps to understanding
pictograms - Managing digital tachographs - Hands on Practical procedures with
simulators.
Two Day Manager (Max 5 Students)
As the One Day Manager with the addition of:
Understanding all pictograms - Understanding all the menu actions - Driver
requirements and procedures for drivers - Understand and pass an exam on the
legislation - Practical download / storage / analysis - Administrate the whole
management of Digital Tachongraphs - Demonstrate use of simulators.
This course is designed for the persons who will be in charge of the Digital
tachograph implementation within the company and have the ability to pass their
knowledge onto others.
The course is also suitable for train the trainer with instruction ability.
Four Day Train The Trainer (Max 4 Students)
An additional two days is given to students who have not aquired instruction
ability and will become Train the Trainer or have a large team of drivers and
admin staff to train within their company.
At the end of this course the student will take two theory papers and in
addition present a training programme of their own.
