Four Day First Aid at Work Course (HSE Approved)

Course Description:
This is a Health and Safety Executive approved four-day course that complies
with the HSE (First Aid) Regulations of 1981 - First Aid coverage in the
workplace is a legal requirement

Certification:
Upon successful completion of the course and final assessment, the delegate will
receive the HSE approved, nationally recognised First Aid at Work Certificate,
valid for three years.
This certificate would enable the holder to act as a First Aider in the
workplace under the 1981 (First Aid) Regulations.

Two-Day First Aid at Work Refresher Course (HSE Approved)
Course Description
An HSE approved course that complies with the Health and Safety Regulations 1981
and the Approved Code of Practice L74 guidelines for the re-qualification of
First Aid at Work certificate holders. First Aid coverage in the workplace is a
legal requirement.

Who should attend?
The course is open to persons who currently fulfil the position of a qualified
workplace First Aider. Delegates must be in possession of a valid (unexpired)
First Aid at Work Certificate issued by any HSE Approved training organisation -
including voluntary organisations.
1 day Emergency First Aid in the Workplace for the Appointed Person
(HSE Recognised)
Course Description
A minimum six-hour programme (one day) for those who wish to gain knowledge of
emergency procedures and attain a recognised qualification in First Aid.
Course Aims
By the end of the course, candidates will be able to demonstrate the essential
knowledge and skills needed with threatening emergencies in the workplace.
The Award
The course tutor will carry out an on-going assessment and successful students
will receive a certificate recognised by the Health and Safety Executive - valid
for a period of three years.
